Best Time to Visit Meghalaya

Meghalaya changes character through the year. Between October and April the skies clear, the roads are easier and the waterfalls still run strong after the monsoon.

If you want the waterfalls at full force, late September and October are unmatched. For village walks and treks, the winter months are the most comfortable. Monsoon travel is possible, but plan buffer days.
